Alien Skin Software requested a ten-foot long conference table that would "make an impression." Using the company's name and corporate philosophy as a starting point, an uncommon table took shape -- a sci-fi creature that appeared as if it might crawl away at any moment. The legs that reach up and over to suspend the top are mild steel with the natural black millscale finish left intact. The stainless steel top resembles shifting tectonic plates with fissures etched into the surface and filled with resin dyed lava-red.
